Alright Mega Man fans, we continue MEGA Week with Mega Man 2, the 1989 sequel to Mega Man 1. The Blue Bomber continues his battle against the evil Dr. Wily, but instead of 6 robot masters, Mega Man must contend against and defeat 2 additional Doc Robots, bringing the total to 8 that he has to fight. Good news, he’ll acquire 8 unique special weapons (Bubble Lead, Atomic Fire, Metal Blade, Quick Boomerang, Time Stopper, Crash Bomber, Air Shooter, and Leaf Shield). He’ll also have 3 platforms-type items that Dr. Light, his creator, will develop for Mega Man to use. This game also introduces players to the energy replenishing E-Tank!
Mega Man 2 was a big improvement from its predecessor game title in terms of level length, music and replay value. Give it a try and have a mega time!
